Vineyards

The vineyards are located in Pietrose, in the cru Pieve le Grazie, a renowned area for the quality of its wines. With 33 hectares of vineyards in one of the most beautiful cru zones of Montepulciano, at an altitude of 350-400 meters above sea level and with a south-western exposure, Talosa benefits from ideal conditions for viticulture. The meticulous attention to cultivation and the selective harvest of individual parcels are a hallmark of grape quality, allowing for the production of fine wines worthy of the company’s name.

The soils of medium texture, of Pliocene origin, are characterized by clayey sands. This exceptional area is capable of producing great wines thanks to its unique composition.

Sangiovese is the soul of Nobile di Montepulciano; the spurred cordon and Guyot are training systems we adopt to produce high-quality grapes. Careful selection of grapes from individual parcels is essential for producing wines with personality.

The harvest is done exclusively by hand. The highly qualified staff works with great passion to achieve a common goal: to produce great wines while respecting the territory.
