Historic Cellar
The main winery for wood aging is located in the heart of the historic center of Montepulciano, beneath two of the city’s oldest palaces: Palazzo Tarugi and Palazzo Sinatti.
A visit to the Talosa cellars is a journey back in time, dating back to the 1500s, the period to which these cellars belong. The galleries, entirely constructed of bricks, feature a fascinating interplay of arches and niches that house the barrels, creating a unique and evocative atmosphere.
Visitors to this magical place automatically assume an air of respect or even reverence for the force of history pulsating these walls. The winery applies this same respect and reverence to cultivation of the vineyards and production of the quality wines.
